This painting exemplifies the style into which the tree paintings have emerged.
There trees are given air to breathe in the painting by including more airbrushing,
and opening up the space by juxtaposing the soft airy vista and the solid glistening trunks in the foreground.
The trees appear to come out of the picture plane becoming more approachable to the viewer
who is invited into the landscape.
