This masked character was clearly visible to me as I walked by this tree after a heavy rainfall up on Windy Ridge.
Windy Ridge is my favorite bristlecone forest in Colorado, just south of Breckenridge.
I camp up at WIndy Ridge whenever I can in the summer months.
